Few pics of my Senator before and after restoration.

Just wanted to show few pics of the boat before and after restoration. It wasn't a big of a project, got the boat for $1500. Before, the boat stayed on the trailer over the winter (or more) outside and got almost full of water in it because previous owner forgot to pull the drain plug. There was no problems with the engine, only had to replace the fuel pump and camshaft and distributor gears(from donor ford bronco engine). The interior was bad, almost everything that was wooden has rotted and was replaced, the replacement front seats are from Toyota minivan + seat covers, replaced rear bench seat with handmade one, and put vinyl + some foam on the hood/lid. The floor was partly rotten, so it also was partly replaced with new wood. Then is was sanded, polished and waxed, still have to do the right side window. Trailer was also taken apart and restored. Not a perfect restoration but I'm happy with it.

Well, it was our first time in the ocean, and the anchor we had wasn't good enough to hold the boat in that water.
And here's what happened next year on the same island. Water went away too far.

I wouldn't spend $1000 on new seats. Old ones became a crap. And those seats were only ones I had lying around. Maybe I'll replace them sometime.

No need if it keeps getting left on the rocks the bottom will be trashed soon. It had to beat and bang on the rocks till the water went down.

It's always on the trailer, it was only 2 times in ocean, and bottom looks perfect so far...

Good luck its just hard for me to belive that the bottom looks perfect laying on rocks twice. But it is your boat
