I'm JEALOUS!

The water is still hard here and they are forecasting 6-10 inches of snow for us Monday.

Have fun and be safe!

Jim

I am jealous to we still have another two months of winter to go! have fun send in pic's to keep us motivated to spring! thansk

It was in the 80's here today but I was home with my 1 year old all day. My wife is quitting work soon, so weekends this spring and summer should be wide open. I can't wait to finally put some hours on this thing!

I can't even get down the cottage road yet, let alone get out on the water.

I suppose we're only a few weeks away now though. One of the first things I do when the ice goes out is take out the old tin boat with the vintage Merc.

My first ride of this crazy Michigan season was January 15th!!!!!

I decided to spend Saturday rigging my old hillbilly pontoon boat. I removed the 1960 Evinrude Fastwin 18, the steering, the throttle/shifter, the wiring harnesses, the cables. Then I installed the 1986 Mercury 35 and steering and wiring and cables and shift/throttle..........whew. What a great day!! In the yard with the dogs, turning wrenchs in the sun on a boat.

we've lost 2 feet of snow in muskoka in the last week - just another 2 feet to go.

One of our friends up at the cottage said it's the most snow he's seen in years. And to think a short while ago we were talking about how there was hardly any.

It got up in the 60's this weekend and I actually didn't have to work! I would have taken mine out but it's all tore apart, I am still waiting on parts I ordered from rickracers 3 weeks ago, They are having major problems and I am getting frustrated! oh well it's supposed to drop back down to the 30's this week.
