gary the boatman and his hustler prop's

i must say he's a gentleman, sent me a prop immediately to try and i was very happy with it. great holeshot, great up top, throws a nice roost also. he offered me the prop to try for the price of shipping only! how do you beat that? If your looking to set up a boat from scratch i'm sure that gary will be willing to give you all the insight you need as well as a prop to try. propshop is my home for future prop purchases. AMEN!

Yup he's a good man. He fronted me a prop nut and washer and asked for the dough only after I received it. You don't often find people like that, btw it got to my house in no time at all.

He's da man! I bought from him a couple of months ago and he's a straight up guy.

prop

Yes they do! Turning Point offers 2 props to fit your 1984 18hp merc. It's called a Rascal. Comes in 10 1/2 x 11, and 10 1/8 x 13. Both are aluminum with interchangeable hubs. $63.00 + shipping. boatman

Good to hear. I plan on trying out a couple props this summer on my Starflite.

My current setup is a 225 Evinrude on 8.5" of setback with manual JP turning a SS 24P Raker. The top end seems good (turning ~5200rpm on an '87 Rude) but the holeshot is pitiful. I'm thinking more setback and/or a 21P or 22P.

GETTING MY BOAT TUNED IN FOR THE SUMMER

Boatman is in the process of fitting my boat with the correct prop. Thanks Gary :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Glad you brought this one back Ross!

Gary thanks for all the help...you don't find good honest people everyday.

A true gentleman and a pleasure to deal with. Not to mention he is full of usefull info. regarding set up(more than just props).

If you didn't live so far away I would bring you a 30 pack.

We may have to take up a site collection to pay Gary's cell phone bill! LOL

Thanks again.

Kudos for Gary

Gary was very helpful in dialing in my Enticer back in 2007. He helped me with the correct prop and jack-plate. You can't beat his price on new props.

Last fall he drove down to me 3 hours to try out a demo prop on my boat. But bad luck stuck me and I broke my outdrive in the first 5 minutes. The tow back to the dock lasted longer than the boat ride. Boatman is good people.
