yea we get it here too, all of the water here is frozen over.they had to use dnr police boats to break up the ice at sandy point state park on the cheasapeak bay so they could do the polar bear plunge.

CAN YOU IMAGINE! JOE AND I WOULD NEED AT LEAST A 33' LIVING ROOM TO GET OURS INSIDE. AROUND HERE, YOU HAVE TO PUT 'EM ON A TRAILER AND SHRINK WRAP THEM FOR THE WINTER. WE ACTUALLY HAVE A FEW FOLKS IN OUR CREEK WHO DON'T TAKE THEM OUT OF THE WATER. SOME ARE SITTING IN THE WATER (ICE) AND OTHERS ARE WRAPPED BUT STILL SITTING ON THEIR LIFTS.

THANKS, GARY, APPRECIATE IT. EBAY AUCTION ENDS TOMORROW AND WE'VE HAD A TON OF INFO & PIC REQUESTS FOR IT. ALSO HAVE A LOCAL GUY HERE CHECKING IT OUT RIGHT NOW AND SOUNDS LIKE HE WANTS IT. HE GOES TO DOBBINS ALL THE TIME SO IF WE SELL IT TO HIM, WE WOULD STILL SEE THE BOAT WHICH WOULD MAKE ME REALLY HAPPY. ANYWAY, KEEPING FINGERS CROSSED AND HOPING ALL IS SETTLED BY TOMORROW. SPRING IS HERE!!!! WHEN ARE YOU PUTING YOUR BOAT IN??? WE'VE HAD A COUPLE CABIN CRUISERS AND FISHING BOATS CRUISING AROUND THE CREEK ALREADY SO I'M READY TO DO IT NOW.

iam ready now.just waiting on some warm weather so i can wash it and give it a good coat of wax before it goes back on the lift. you no how hard it is to wax a boat hanging on the lift.

same here, hoping to get shrink wrap off ours this Sunday so we can start prepping to put back in, DEFINITELY easier to wax on trailer instead of lift, weather's lookin' good for working on it, too!!!

by the way, our little Checkmate is sold to the guy from Frederick, I think he's picking it up this weekend, there's a good chance we'll see it over the summer since he goes to Dobbins Island,

Thats a long way to go from frederick to dobbins. I wounder whats going to happen to the party spot at dobbins? I heared the new owners want to build a house on it but the county is givin them a hard time about it.If they build on it they are not going to want two hundred boats hanging out there.
