good place online to buy new spark plugs

I am partial to the NGK plugs, I haven't bought any online but My local walmart stocks them and so does west marine. They should be redily avalible. Also,I think most NAPA stores will get them for you if they don't stock them.

I get plugs online from Rock Auto, for the marine plugs I use they have the best prices I've found. I use Champion 'cause that's what my manual calls for, but honestly can't believe there'd be much difference between brands as long as the heat range is correct.

If it is a 2-stroke outboard, I would only use NGK plugs. It seems like those are the best for a 2-stroker, never had good luck with Champions in a 2 stroke. But on the flip side, NGK's don't seem to work very well in a 4-stroke motor like Champion's or Autolite's.

Go for the NGK's

Its amazing how these motors won't run on certian plugs- I'd suggest sticking with whatever is reccomended by the manufacturer.

I think most Mercs like the ngk? OMCs like champions- or at least mine did... it was very pickey about what kinda plug you ran in it- thats what the mfg called for also. Those plugs never missed a beat for me in that motor... same goes for the ngk plugs in my old merc 175- which is what was called for by merc.

i order my plugs on friday for $17.82 with shipping ngk 2622. what i received was ngk v power 2262. the wrong plugs. so i called them up and they said just to keep the wrong ones and do what i want with them and they are sending me new ones right a way.

1.99 ea BU8H

I just ordered some NGK BU8H plugs from auto zone for 1.99 ea, they dont stock them but they say they will get them the next day. Best price i have seen on NGKs.
West Marine stocks them but they want 4.00 each (and the customer sevice sucks there, that reminds me of a thread I am gonna start.) and the Napa wants 3.50 ea.
