Got my Pulsare

Bruce

Active member
Hi Guys and Gals ... well I just got back yesterday morning from a 30 hour round trip to Virginia where I lucked out on a great deal. I spotted a Pulsare on Craigslist Tuesday evening and secured the deal on Wednesday morning. Left for Virginia Wednesday supper time and made it back home at 4:00 am yesterday morning through the flippin mountains ... all 17 hours of them. I was just praying that the old Mini Van would make it ... just took my time .. felt like a trucker using those emergency flashers climbing those mountains.

Anyhow .. here's the scoop . it's a 1998 Pulsare with a 1999 Johnson 225 HO motor on a great aluminum trailer. Got it from a marina in Roanoke who simply wanted to clear out some used boats .. I had cash which made the difference. Needs a little cleaning up but the hull and interior are spotless.. no rips etc etc.

Here are a few shots that were on the Marina's web site ...

Nice Mate Bruce.!!!:thumb: I looked at that mate before I bought the Enforcer. That's a great price!!!!

Congrats! Looks like a great boat. Don't forget to get back with more information on how fast/well it runs!

Hi there, thanks for the comments ... I was going to head out today but the weather has gotten in the way .. should be ok tomorrow. I previously had a Pulse 170 so it will be quite a change.

I'll report back in once I've taken it out :D

Take Care

Congratulations Bruce!

I know you were looking for one for a while, so I'm glad you finally found a keeper. :thumb:

I'll look forward to seeing lots of pics of it! :surf:

you got rid of the four winns (if memory serves me correctly that's what you replaced the pulse with).

my friend still has the pulse, i summerized it this spring. don't think he uses it much, and it starting to get a little rough around the edges.

you going to make your way up to muskoka with that? would love to see it! where you keeping it? i don't think it will fit in your garage!

Thanks Guys for the comments ...

Chris E ... you are correct sir... I had the Four Winns U17 after the Pulse which I sold 2 years ago. I said to myself the next one had to be a Pulsare, however, it had to be a deal... which this one was for sure.

Currently, I have it on the driveway\grass all covered up to keep the weather out. Working on getting a double garage nearby to keep it in for the summer...winter I'm ok I can store it in my Dad's garage while he is in Florida.

I'll let you know when I venture up into your neck of the Woods ..

Take Care

Bruce
