JUPITER PULSARE

Wow..it seemed like it had been forever since my boat was last in the water (May 17th to be exact..when I hit bottom in Lake Okeechobee). Well I fixed my minor gelcoat repairs on the pad...overcame my brief unemployment and preliminary panic to sell my toys....acclimated to my new job and the long hours...and finally got a day off...just in time for fathers day!!! My fiance didn't have to ask twice to see if I wanted to relax or go boating!!!!! My old Pulsare was washed, gased, oiled, ready and waiting to be splashed!!! We ran the ocean from Jupiter to St Lucie inlet with a 1' chop at about 50 MPH. Hit the sandbar for about 2.5 hours along with some of my Hydrostream buddies (they keep busting me about not running my Valero anymore) and then we all went snorkling in the ocean just north of Hobe Sound in 7-20' of crystal clear, bathtub warm water. The reef was full of fish, coral, sponges, crevices, ledges, etc. The ocean layed down almost flat at about 5:00 pm. The ride home at 60+ MPH in open ocean was outstanding!! Stopped to see a large (coffee table sized) leather back turtle..very cool and then we hung the corner inside Jupiter Inlet and idled back to the ramp..sunburned, windburned, red eyed, and very happy!!!!
