Greg's (Scream & Fly) Dad passed away

Greg's father passed away. He runs the Scream & Fly site and has been very helpful to many of us here on Checkmate-boats.com. I wish him the best. It's a very bad time of year to lose a loved one! May Greg's father "Scream & Fly" in heaven.
 
Very sorry to hear that. The holidays are a especially hard time to lose a loved one. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
 
Thank you so much everyone. I haven't been on the web much these past few weeks, but I was very touched to see this post here. Today we my dad was laid to rest at Bushnell National Cemetery. He was a veteran of the Korean War as a medical officer (had us kids late in life), and was given military honors. I know it's what he wanted, but it was also extremely sad. He's at peace now though, and I have to think of our loss in those terms. Your thoughts really mean a lot to me, and Chris has built a community here that's as good as it gets. It's great to have friends, and although I have never met most of you, I feel we are all close friends. I hope we can all meet in person someday. Thanks again everyone, Greg
