HAPPY WIFE - HAPPY LIFE

That's gotta be one of the cleanest used boats I've ever seen very nice find enjoy does that boat have switchable exhaust and mufflers?

I love the 525 EFI motor as well. Are those the stock pipes?

Yes they are the stock pipes. As you guys know I researched the CMI header issues thoroughly and long story short, they will be replaced with Hardin Hurricane Lite headers before it hits the water. It doesn't have captains choice but it does have external transom mount (not clamp on's) mufflers. After much research the original owner found a muffler that is specifically made for high hp motors and doesn't rob any hp. Here is a quick pic of the replacement headers

KIP KIP KIP! What can I say in my fourth post in a row? I want to thank you man! For takin the time to talk with me in detail about all of the hull numbers I called you on. It's guys like you that keep the Checkmate rep up. Hands down the best of the best all around service and delivery! Thanks Kip. Don't let the vision fade or the legend die

WOW!!! great boat. congrats. im going to miss all your searching for a boat posts....LOL keep us posted on speeds with the 525

great looking boat !!!! super clean !! love the windshield !!! cannot believe it does not have Hyd. steering with that engine/drive ?? would look into that...congrads Rob

Thanks guys! We are very excited and hopefully now people in our area will see what checkmate is all about. No mates to speak of. These guys don't know what there missin! As far as the cuddy goes, it's still new. And the nails were painted blue the day after we put a down payment on it! She loves blue! Hey at least it's not pink:poke: right Keith?:p

Very nice boat!!! Now show people what they are all about. There's one other here that I know about but never have seen it on the water. Everywhere I go people ask what is a "Checkmate" They think its some off brand. When we roll out, they figure it out pretty quick. Its so awesome to have a one of a kind boat that no one has out here. Now, go splash her and throw those mufflers off! Beautiful boat!

Pure awesomeness!! Heck, I've been excited for you. That 525 sounds like a great mota, wonder what a convincor with two of em would run ;)

thanks brian and to think not too long ago i was lookin at your old playmate here in MN! i think the zt will ride a little better!!!!

twin 525's in a convincor would be sweet but i think twin 454's or 502's with 3.5 - 7lbs would rock the house for much less.....;)

I'd have to upgrade all the internals first......... X2 :brickwall: It's got the 454efi motors so all cast parts would have to be forged parts before safely pumping boost in! At that point for a few $$$ more I'd have merc blue motor reliability and wow factor, LOL!

thanks ez! hyd. steering is on my list but we'll see how it handles. the original owner opted out on that expense when he built the boat and said he really never wished he had it. but then again he cruised most of the time
