HAPPY WIFE - HAPPY LIFE

been in the garage all weekend with company stopping by non stop to see the boat and one beer leads to five and again and agian and again! it's been great. the weather was beautiful so both overhead doors were open with the boat just shinin like a sum b. i did find time to remove the previous owners name decals and the port dash decal. i also polished the trailer wheels with good old mothers too. i hope to find time this week to change the headers

I agree with everyone's positive comments ... but then it looks a lot like mine -- same graphics and a blue motor / CMI headers....

Wondered where you boat in MN? Once or twice a year we run the Mississippi / St. Croix ... and you're right that we don't see many Checkmates there.

@#$@@#$ @#$%@#$%!!!!!!!

took the day off today to remove my headers and install the hardin hurricane lite headers. i opened the first box and at first glance it looked sweet! but that's where it all went wrong. this header is USED and has several hours on it! it's all black with carbon, scratched to fu<K. oh i need a beer at this point and someone's head to throw the empty bottle at!!!!! i reluctantly open the second box and it appears to be new with no carbon at all but it has several scratches, nicks and blemishes! this one has definitely been miss handled! no hardware, gaskets or instructions included either!!!! At the time i ordered these i was pretty excited about the new boat and all so i didn't realize i could order them directly through hardin. i ordered them through diamond performance parts. however the return address on the labels is hardin's so i believe they were drop shipped directly from hardin. anyhow i called hardin and sent detailed pics. i'm sure they will make it right but THERE GOES THE BOATING VACATION WE HAVE SCHEDULED FOR SAT-THUR!!!!!!!:brickwall::brickwall:

it's blurry but in the pic above the little specs all over are tiny nicks. like a sandblaster grassed over it quickly and the two darker bigger ones are gouges :shakehead:

hardin said it was a complete human error and apologized. they sent me return labels to send em back. they will send "new" headers when they receive these pieces of sh!+

anyone else find it strange that they didn't offer me anything for my troubles or for having to reschedule my vacation??????? i guess we're a bit different here in the midwest
