I just bought an old 76,77? checkmate trimate IV, inboard merc 140. It has a walkthrough windshield but the drivers side is about an inch taller than the other side and it looks odd to me. I first thought something may be broken loose in the floor but all seems to be solid and intact. I've about decided its actually just made this way .....

It should actually be straight . My trimate II has the same windshield . The dash is most likely higher on one side . My passenger side is higher on mine because I had to adjust the brace that holds the dash and I noticed afterward one side was higher . I just havent had the time to fix it ...
