hatch replacement parts

Hey guys need some help. I was trying to find some replacement parts for my main hatch but cant find the model number on it. It's a bomar hatch. I've looked all over the damn thing and can only find a serial number. Tried looking it up but found nothing. All i want is two new handles that look like they're glued to the hatch and the prop arm that is broken. Am I just better off measuring the cut out and buying a whole new hatch?

my problem is one of the handles is missing so the hatch is not sealing properly and lets rain get in if not covered. the more i think about it replacing the whole thing is sounding like the right move. If I do, how hard of a project would this be. I'm figuring maybe an hour @ the most. this sound about right?

Yea, from what I have seen on mine, there is the top plate that has the hinge and hatch, then the backing plate on the inside of the deck surface with just 4 #10 stainless screws through bolted squeezing them together. I imagine it would involve scraping the old deck sealant off and re-siliconing the new one on.

I still have the handle that broke off of mine, I was just going to glue it back on. the black plastic latch base basically separated from the hatch. Just one of those things I haven't got around to doing yet.

Yeah, I checked there too. Found a bunch but nothing that looked like what I have. I wonder if I give Checkmate a call if they would have any new old stock laying around. They're only an hour north of me and would give me an excuse to go up there. :D

A quick check on ebay showed plenty of hatches and parts.
