Hello everyone

fast94persuader

Well-known member
Hey everyone
My name is Jason and im 23
I bought my first boat last summer
its a 94 persuader 219 with a 350 mag
so far i have only got it to gps 59.5 but checkmate says its capable of 70 when i talked to the tech support guy
i dont beliieve him but if anyone has any ideas about how to get a little more power out of a 350 mag i would appreciate it it only has 200 hours so i know it will be ok for some modifications currently i have a 23 pitch cleaver on it when i bought it it had a 19 and it only ran about 54 and screamed rpm i had a 26 on it for a while but it was so bad out of the hole and it dropped down to 4000 rpm with the 23 its about 52-5400 when i get it back out of storage in spring I'm going to check the timing and do a tune up and then mayhbe some headers and who knows maybe a carb and intake i would like to be able to run 65 reliably or i have a 400 small block i might build and get it to do 80 ha ha anywaya if anyone has some tips id appreciate it talk to youall later

You can get it to 70 GPS but you'll need a correctly installed supercharger or replace the small block with a big block. Good luck and have fun! :surf:

Welcome to the board! I don't have any comments on how to make the boat faster, But search here and you'll get tips.

I like JW's idea, or your other option is to turn that 350 mag into a 383. One gets you bling points, the other lets you have a real sleeper.

like i said i got a 400 block i figure if i keep the compression down and a small cam with some decent heads to make it reliabable but i dunno i have two foot itis already so maybe ill buy a 25 convincer before i get around to it, for that i need a bigger truck, and a bigger garage oh well for now its fun ill get some pics up soon

try a 23 mirage prop.Im getting 62 gps in a 91 21' senator at 4700 rpm with a stock 350 260 or 270 hp?All i have changed is to thru hull exhaust

Welcome to the board. Before you start dropping $$ in the motor, start trying props. You need a prop with allot better lift than a cleaver.

Welcome Aboard! You're in the right place!
Just be careful- these guys could have you doing 80 in no time-just as soon as you're willing to have this boat take over you're whole life. It gets addictive.
