Hello to all. I just purchased a 1980 Checkmate Diplomat with a Mercury 150. I was doing some research on the boat and this community came up. Glad to be here.

We have a home in Glebe Harbor. We put in last Saturday and went over to Coles Point Mariana for lunch. It takes about 8 mins by water. Thanks for the welcome.
 
We hit Tims in Woodbridge a few times a year. If you ever make it to Montross, give me a shout and maybe we can hook up.
 
Thanks Jim. I have had her for a week now. This morning I will drop the lower foot and see if the water pump needs replaced. There is very little water coming out of the weep hole or whatever the proper name of it is.
