Welcome to the board, What are you using in terms of setup? and Lets see some pics. the MX's are not that rare although it is rare to see them in good shape. Inline_six and Cooperider from this board know alot about them. Send em a PM Im sure they could tell you something I dont know

Give the factory a call and ask them how many were made. :thumb:
 
not sure about how many were made but these were basically checkmates first real production boats this site has old brochures you can look at that show all the makes and models from "back in the day". I have one an let me say they are a blast to own and drive. Be careful because they can be a bit unsafe but also good cheap fast fun boats and the only real problem is that most of the time they haven't been taken care of and usually have transoms and floors that are falling apart.
