HELLPPPP with dual cable steering!!!!!

Hi all. I am STILL fighting with installing this *!! steering on my checkmate!! What is the distance center to center of your cable systems! I have the link to connect the dual steering cables to the Johnson control arm. It turned out to be for a 2 1/2" ctr to ctr distance for the cables. I am getting exasperated!!!! Thanks for your help all!!

Hi CheckmateOhio, after reading your question I went into my garage to have a look at mine. I have the dual cable system on a 1993 Evinrude 120, however, I'm not sure what you mean by center to center measurement. Perhaps you could elaborate and I can go into the garage and measure what mine is. I apologize for not being up to snuff with respect to what your after but I may be able to shed a little light anyway.

Bruce
