I'm pretty sure it is not a Checkmate. It does appear to have the correct motor hanging out the back. Reminds me of the condition of my boat when I found it especially if there is a big racoon living up front. I'm looking at the fuel fill and the way the windscreen goes back and the hull at the transom and I don't think it's a Glastron. I'm thinkin Jetster or Jolly Rodger. It looks like the registration numbers have been covered up? Hmmm...

Thanks for all the info guys, yah i think its a knock off too but would still be a blast to drive..haha

The closest one i could find was a sidewinder too, but still i dont think it is a sidewinder the back corners look different.

I blurred the lic numbers on the front of the boat, i wasn't sure on the protocol
but i figured its like a license plate and best to blur if posted on the net.

What would u guys price a boat like this? u know how it is, owner claims ran when parked and it supposedly floats?

There is an old boat about 30 miles from me that looks like this on. I think it's the same one I seen on the lake brand new back in the mid to late 70's. If so, it was a fiberform. Not sure if that is the way it was spelled.

Well i have been looking at photos and photos, the closest one i found i think was a Jetster. If i recall it had the fuel filler in the same spot as the pix i published.

However ive looked at thousands of boats and still haven't found the exact same.

If any of you guys have any pix of something like this please post them
I would like to make an offer on this boat but i want to know what it is im getting into first.

thanks.

Been lookin at that big Merc hangin out the back and I feel this sucker must be pretty fast because sombody has put some kind of plate on the motor to slow it down some!?.

yah there is a big fish finder mounted smack dab in the middle of the dash almost higher than the windshield.. my guess is they were trying to slow it down enough to fish out of. Might be alittle hard to fish out of this guy unless your trolling for muskey at 40mph. :)

Oh. I thought that it was a rear view mirror to check on skier or wakeboarder or the Checkmate that is about to go by. Were probably going to have to check with 82 Diplomat on Muskie trolling speeds.

Check and see if it has a HIN stamped into the hull...if it does, the first three letters should tell you the manufacturer. ;)
