He said it's just been sitting there since he bought it, not a scratch, just dust. He said he paid $2800 for it new in '87.

Seems kinda odd to me.

He should just sell it to me for 2k and move on.

Best way to sell in my experience is the local large daily newspaper. I've sold several boats, half out of the paper and half from the online web sites like this one and http://www.screamandfly.com

$2800 he got a deal they retailed for about $3500 new.

I'll find one someday.
