Eagle Lake 2 miles from Mankato to the East. Duck Lake is my favorite for sking on week nights because of not much traffic on the lake. I also like to run the Mississippi and St. Croix rivers. I run an 03' pulse 185 with a 175+hp

EFI Merc.

Is the owner of the red 2100 pulsare with the 225EFI I saw on the river at Prescott two weeks ago a member here?

Pulse: Did you get your overheat alarm figured out?

jim: No the problem is still there, I had it looked at by a shop in ottertail, mn. but I dont really think they are used to working on the big motors, this weekend I am borrowing a freinds infared heat gun so I will know for sure what the temp is when it goes off. My local checkmate dealer works real close with a shop out of avon, mn. who is a checkmate and merc guru, hopefully I will have it nailed down this weekend so I can finally see how fast I can run.

COME ON GUYS!! I KNOW THER HAVE TO BE MORE THAN THAN 1 OTHER MINNESOTA MEMBER OUT THERE, DONT BE SHY LET US KNOW !!

I have a pulse 185 with a 280 merc on Prior lake and I remember talking to you guys before .I don't get on line much in the summer so thats why I didn't reply. You asked about the boat at supreme marine being mine- ya thats mine and it is in there again over the 4th, a ring retainer broke causing the ring to shift and get hung up on the ports and break. Who knows when i will get it back. Supreme Marine has a sweet used 2001 Triad in there with a 225 promax on it- goes 90+, I am tempted to buy it If I can't get my boat back in a resonable amount of time, then this winter put the 280 on the triad and the 225 on the checkmate and sell the checkmate. The triad with the 280 is capable of 100+. The biggest problem is that it would probably cause a divorce if I had 2 boats and the pontoon. Also, the Triad is not nearly as comfortable as the mate to ride and cruse in.
When I get the c-mate back, I will post it on this thread and maybe we can run together. There is a starflight on the lake with a merc 225 3.0 that runs about 72 on the lake. He has a merc 300 on a cruiser and I keep telling him to switch motors- I think he is getting more and more tempted.
I would like to run the boat on the St Croix during the week when it's not so crowded - maybe we could do it there.
