I have this friend named Matt, he has worked at both Checkmate and Baja several times just like me. Although he, started back in the 70's, so he has some years ahead of me. He is going to be helping me in the shop with building my boats. Anyway, we were talking about how much fun it was to do the one off special orders. Boats that you would never think of to try on your own. So he is telling me about an Orange Convincor that he sprayed for a guy named Sammie. I said, wait, was this for Action Marine? He said, yes, he thinks it was.
I said I know the guy, I talk to him on line sometimes, on the Checkmate forum.
He thought that was cool, loved how the boat came out, said we should try one like it. We are big fans of flake.
Small world eh? So if you have a picture of that boat, I would love to see it.
