jrumon, having a 3 day weekend every 3rd day with 1 day off in between is not to shabby either,thats 9 work days a month.not including the 1 vacation & 1 sick day we get per month to bank for ever.And in 25 yrs (11 yrs to go) I can retire. my 2.5 checkout fine at the end of this season. I just wanted to rebuild it before it was to late this time. But this off season I'm in more need to rework the transom, order new interior and refinish the trailer this spring. THANKS MERC245

YES... I am searching for a 21' or bigger Checkmate open (or closed bow?)... I really like those Pulsares and the 300X would be the best game plan! BUT...I also like the Stiletto BR, the ZT230 BR, and the Pursuader 234BR... and have a thing for Big-Blocks too!!!

P.S. If your 245 only needs fresh rings/rings & pistons/gaskets/etc.. I can do that! Jim.

Hey jrumon, I have a 229 maxxum with a V-8 O/B Johnson. I'm looking to move it this winter to make room for a bigger mate in the spring. I'm in Texas, but I can always meet you half-way.
