The boat in the second photo looks like the same model as in the first. Are these both Trimates? This is a great looking boat! I tried calling the number but got voice mail. I want to move up from my Sportire to an I/O with more power and a bowrider. This fits the bill. Anyone have experience with these regading skiing, boarding, putting, and zooming around? Also wonder if Wicked has any additional opinion on this boat's condition. Thanks!

I was thinking that there was a 4 cyl. mercruiser option for trimates 120 or 140 probably.Looks like a good V-8 swap project.What do you think Gus?

A high winding small block would be a blast in that boat. HMMMMMm do I need another project? well the thought has passed. No I don't need another one........YET.

THE MAN SELLING THE CONVINCER TOLD ME "IT HAS A PUMPED UP ENGINE WITH DOUBLE HUMP HEADS THAT HE REWORKED" I THINK THAT KIND OF HEAD CAN ONLY BE FOUND ON THE SMALL BLOCK CHEVY V8.
 
As far as i know double hump heads only came out on 327ci 350hp and 350ci 350hp late 60's early 70's chevys .They are good flowing heads.

Yep, a pair of pristine double hump heads are hard to come by! They might be worth as much as the boat..............

$8,500 isn't bad if its in nice shape and comes with a trailer.However its gonna need a pumped up engine to push it along.25 foot deep V needs a built big block,in my opinion.

I DON'T KNOW THE EXACT YEAR. I THINK IT IS A MID 80'S? THE NEXT TIME I AM OVER THAT WAY I WILL GET THE FACTORY NUMBERS OFF OF THE BOAT AND E-MAIL THEM TO CHECKMATE. THEY CAN GIVE ME THE CORRECT SPECS. HAD TO DO THIS WITH MY BOAT TO FIND OUT WHAT IT WAS.
