thanks! I set everthing up myself. It doesn't sound bad for an amatuer install.
They are in boxes.I took one end of the rail loose and moved it out of the way and the box slides right in.ICBoater, that is exactly where I am planning to put mine. Damn, I whought I was doing something that no one had done before.
Are those free air subs mounted on a slam board type setup or are they in boxes. How did you get them in there? I am 99% sure I am going to have to remove the bolsters to get mine installed.
Mine are going to be in boxes. Still not sure if I am building sealed or vented enclosures. Still building cardboard prototype boxes and measuring everything very carefully.
283 and 300 Convincors are the same length. They are 28 feet w/o counting the swim platform, 30 feet with counting it.Holy crap, I guess that is the benefit of the bigger boat. I am convinced I will not be able to get the boxes into my 253 without removing the bolsters.
Is your boat the old 283 with the seim platform now counted in LOA or do you have one of the true 30 footers. I believe the original Convincor 300 was 30' not counting the swim platform. You obviously have more room then me.
BTW, so you stilll have the measurements of the boxes you used?
I think the 303 Convincor was 30' w/o the platform. I have only seen one around.Did they make a Convincor that was 30' not counting the swim platform?
