This is my next project . I have the decals for the motor but couldnt find the phantom black paint today . I used to see it every where . Well I didnt go to boater value today I bet they had it . Ive been doing everything else to the boat and its looking better and better and the poor motor looks like crap lol . It looks alot older than it actually is . Im hoping to get that done before the weather really changes .

Im gunna run over to boaters value tomorrow if I can make it there after work . I pretty sure they had it before when I was there . I was also planning on going to cabelas this week to so ill check there too . Thanks I didnt even think about cabelas carrying it .

I dont know why I didnt think of this . I can order the phantom black from www.oldmercs.com . I forgot all about that . They have all kinds of stuff for the older mercs . The sad thing is ive bought alot of stuff from there in the past lol .

I finally had the time to have the motor painted . I did all the prep work and sprayed with etching primer . Than my dad sprayed with epoxy primer with hardner and than he sprayed it with pitch black paint with super wet look hardner and it turned out awesome .
