I'm hoping to become a checkmate owner sometime in the near future. I joined to try and get some insight into what's available and leverage some collective knowledge to avoid buying the wrong boat.
I've been around boats all my life and currently own a PWC. I've been looking for something along the lines of a Donzi Classic, Baja Outlaw, or Checkmate for a couple months and have yet to come across anything local. I've expanded my search area (still hoping to find something within Ontario) and hope to have something this season.
There are a couple available on our local for sale website but confirming pricing at this time of year is difficult as there are no comparables available. I'm hoping that some of you can provide some input.
I plan to post these to the 3rd party ad classified to get some more input, but until then, here is the boat that I am considering, although given the age of the hull, and what seems to be available just south of the border, I feel like it is substantially overpriced. Opinions appreciated.

Welcome to the Forum. I'm sure you'll get some input from other members in the near future as I believe there are several on here that own the Pulse model. Hope you get the info you need and buy the CM you're looking for.
