is there a checkmate dealer still in fargo??

I don't think so. Dave actually ran a little car lot and the Checkmates were a sideline. He seems to have packed it in. The closest Mate dealers to us are;

Larson Marine,
Bottineau ND @ 701-263-4888

Pally Performance Products,
Saskatoon SK @ 306-244-4469

I bought a 300 Merc Promax from Pally (Dave, I believe) about 7 years ago. Great guy, great to deal with.

Too Bad

Sadly, Dave Retzlaff has not been a Checkmate dealer since early 2007. Anyone who had the pleasure of dealing with Dave knows that he is a first class individual and the consumate sales professional.

Dave knew the CM product line inside out and, as a result, CM Fargo sold some of the nicest looking and best rigged boats ever produced by CM.

Checkmate needs more dealers like Dave - fair, honest and always putting the interests of the customer first.

So, he sold lots of boats and his customers were happy. Why, then, I wonder is Dave no longer a dealer? Perhaps someone at CM would like to chime in with some insight?
