For what you paid for that thing it damn well should float. Should move too.
Use it in good health. And post pictures.

Launched near home and ran her for about a half hour out and half hour back.

Really responsive. Following break-in procedures. Little over 60 a couple of times without pushing. Took waves and wakes better than I thought. Last boat was a Scarab, so I was worried about this pounding, but it really didn't.

:rof:

She boogies.
Lapdances? A friend of mine bought a car not too long ago that cost roughly half of what your average home goes for. He was giving me a ride and I was busting his horns about what he had paid when he told me to take a look in the glove compartment claiming that was where the manufacturer had placed the optional BJ granting hooker.
Does your boat have a glovebox?

I've got to check my glovebox more closely.

That thing really looks SWEET ! They always look better wet anyway, kinda like women, LOL. Where did you put in, looks like Solomons from the pics?

Its good to hear the Checkmate makes boats that float. Mine did until the economy took a toll. Now it just sits and waits to float once again. Nice looking boat! :bigthumb:

I put in at Delaware City (great ramp) and barreled down the C&D canal (can't beat that for adhering to Merc's break-in).

We docked at the Chesapeake Inn; Chesapeake City, MD.

Good ride. Stayed on plane and ran pretty hard over decent sized waves/wakes. That's what I was most worried about. Just wasn't sure how'd she handle.

I plan on being together for the gathering. Guess I'll launching from Kent Narrows.
