I am looking for some advice on a jack plate form my Pulare 2100 br. Currently I have a manual CMC 6". With the 225 pro XS and 27 p tempest I have run a best Top of 77 MPH on GPS. Normally about 75-76.
Looking at a CMC 10" power lift (black of course) or a stainless marine 5" with 6" mini set back.
Any advice?

Finally! After about 7 hours of work i got the stainless marine set back and jack plate installed. Truely Aluminum Art! The real impressive thing was the change in the boat. It now holds plane at a slower speed, Drives lighter and easier. Top end is a big question. The best previous speed of my boat was 77 on GPS in cold weather with a very light load and no gas. My first run with the jack plate produced 76 on gps with a full tank (bow cover on)
Even 7HP=2-3 mph. I bet you could get that back with some fancy prop work. My Tempest props were always 2 mph faster than the Trophy props but the holeshot and mid range was bang'n with the Trophy.
