AV8 weighs 560lbs If I remember corectally. There is a 60 page thread where a guy was rigging one to a Valero on S&F. It wouldnt sink a trimate by any means, just be easy in reverse. I was going to hang my 300 on the back of my predictor but never got around to it. It can be done but you would need to have it setup perfectally. I would love to see that Coop. is that your project X?

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I have been in Ohio all weekend visiting with just checkin and sold my Pulsare! The V8 seemed to run strong. I did a compression test and it does have 1 cylinder under 100lbs. But for the price, you can't go wrong. The controls, cables, hyd. steering, ss prop, and the lower unit are nearly worth that much. boatman

SO COULD I JUST DROP IT ON MY BOAT AND GO
OR WOULD I HAVE TO GO TROUGH IT
HAVE YOU HAD A HEAD OFF IT TO SEE WHY IT HAS LOW COMP

No I haven't had the head off, don't really want to mess with it. I have to many irons in the fire as it is. But, the motor was running fine when I pulled it off. It seemd to run strong. But on the other hand, if I were going to run it, I would probably check it out first. boatman

I was in town for a few minutes. Had to drop the Pulsare at the factory for some touch up work and show it to a guy from Lorain. He bought it! Then I went up to the lake for the weekend with Jason and Gary. Took my daughter along. It was her first trip to C-mate and boy was she impressed! I will be coming back soon and we can hook up. boatman

OK, make me an offer! I need to get this thing out of the back of my sons truck. He wants to start driving it! boatman

Hey boatman, do you know if the v8 is a 3.6l or a 4.0l ? Also, does it have the big bore carbs? I have someone interested here in FL.
