The thought of three boats wide, 3 boats deep doing 65+ down that river is awesome!!!
I have been involved with a few of those but not with a bunch of checkmates!:drool:
 
2nd no wake zone from smittys would be baldwin I believe. 1st one is KRPD dock. you can PM me your number Jordan, i'll get ahold of ya. I'll be there for sure. Just tested my new motor out last night. Still have some adjusting to do, but she runs great.! This is the only thing i've been thinking about!!!! Cant wait!!!

bfmccasper I just PM you my number and you are correct its the Baldwin no wake zone. Also let me know when you come out this weekend b/c I might see you if I come out Sunday (headed down tomm. round noon)
 
Got the PM, I'll actually be out there tomorrow testing and tuning the new motor. Probably be out there sunday around noon I hope. Have something going on in the morning at 11am, but going straight out there afterwards

I know I'm ready also, went out over the weekend and locked though to the Mississippi with no problems. I say we go for it the island sand is clean and would be a good time. Also is there anyone coming that would have a 23/24p prop to try on the ol' convincor??

Jordan, good meeting you this weekend. I think i have my cooling problem figured out, so my old mx16 should be ready to rock by saturday. Gonna finish dialing it in Wednesday. Im good to lock through, we can play it by ear. This is gonna be great, i've got quite a few non checkmate boats also coming out
 
My boats goin in the shop tomorrow morning, so not sure it'll be done by this weekend....but I'm convincing my brother in law to bring his crownline....if that doesn't work, I'm getting my girlfriends Dad to break out his jet boat. Hopefully I'll see you all there. :lol:
 
Looks like I am gonna miss out. I have to wait and see what the rest of the week brings. I would like to go, but I am afraid I mat have to pass. As the week draws to a close, I will let you guys know what gives and pm somebody my cell number for directions.

It was nice meeting you also and to see you project (cant wait to see her run) and glaad to here you may have your cooling problem taken care of. This will be a good time for sure and I also told people about the run sat. but not sure if anyone else will show or not.

Aj, you gotta go! This was your idea. Tell todd to put a rush on it. Im coming down to the wire too, but i finally got my motor to pump water tonight. New poppet valve will be put in Wednesday, then to the river to play with props and jack plate height
I think ill be ready for sure. Even if im not, ill be in a boat somehow!
 
look like as of right now the weather is going to hold out for us. They are calling for very scattered showers saturday, real chance of rain not moving in till sunday. I guess if it rains well have to come up with a rian date, but those weathermen have been know to be wrong, hahahaha
