so does anyone on here have their pride for their checkmate in a tattoo?? i don't know but for some reason i was thinking about this.
 
I've considered a Cadillac emblem, but a Checkmate Knight never occured to me. All of my tattoos (6) hold a deep meaning to me such as family and faith. I am a big fan of Checkmate, but I don't feel strongly enough to do something like that just yet. Though, I'm sure it would look pretty cool! :thumb:

thats the problem i am having too, i want to but i definatly do not want one of those tattoos that you regret
 
oh... just do it!!!

there are some pretty good tattoo artists out there, and if your dont like it after a few years you can have it changed into a poodle or maybe a donkey!!! :poke:

I have been a huge Checkmate fan since I can remember knowing what a Checkmate was (my Dad bought his first CM when I was 3), but I don't plan on getting a tatoo of the Night.

Kinda like a girlfriends name...what happens if you ever buy a Donzi, Fountain, or God forbid a BAJA!!!!!!?????:rof:

lol, I have a friend that has a tattoo of his now-debunked puppy loves name on his arm :irked:, who happens to have the same name as his neice. His neice was born at least 5 years after he got the tattoo, but his current gf thinks he got that tattoo because of his niece. :sssh:
 
I think we all have a friend that had a few too many and went and got some ink.

My best bud went and got his wife's name on his arm and was divorced a year or two later....not my cup of tea, but to each their own!

For some reason people tend to do serious things when relationships get rocky. My friend who got the tattoo was cheating before and after he got ink'd, everyone knew whenever she found out it would all be over so who knows why he did it. :shakehead:

I can understand children's names or mother/fathers name, but these days the odds of your marriage/relationship lasting until death is pretty slim. Big up's to those of yall who are makin' it do what it do!!! :bigthumb:
 
So did you ever get the tattoo?

I've been thinking of this one on the back on my calf, always wanted just one tattoo and can't think of anything I'd like better, I know I will always own a Checkmate.

My brother owns a tatoo shop and has been trying to get me in there for a long time.

I dated girl who had 3 small ones and she told me the same thing, They had to have some meaning to her to get them.
1st one was of a parrot, her favorite bird
2nd was a of a pot leaf, she liked to light up
3rd was of another bird, a blue swallow, she told me, you figure it out!

true story!:D
