"Wanted" Looking for 300XS (Motor has been found and purchased)

300xs

Mecury has a used motor program called CPO ( certified pre owned ) basically there motors that were used on demo boats or unsold at dealers and returned to the factory. Go to your local dealer and have them check the cpo inventory list. I've purchased 2 of these and they both had alittle over a 100 hrs but looked brand new inside and out. And you get a one year warranty.

Still looking.... called several Merc dealers, none seem too enthused about looking for a CPO 300XS. Days of customer service seem lost in the fold(profit).

Theres a guy on screamandfly with one now.Its a bit to pricey for my taste at 17,500.Im not sure what the guys thinking I called him and he was saying he had over 20,000 into it.Jacos has them new for 16,950.

Wildman has a new pair for $34K - $17K each, NEW w//warranty No way in hell I'd give what that guy wants.

TM with a nose cone will work, but needs to have 1.62 gears

^ Will do, thanks for the lead. I've been combing the friggen country, it just sucks there isn't a good used motor for sale site. I'm sure there are plenty of 300's available, just tough to find. Been thinking about buying a Bullet bass boat w/300xs on it, swapping motors and flipping it. Sounds like a ton of work though!

Water is still pretty hard over here so I have a little time before I get desperate.
