Looking for a senator

Well-known member
Hello all, I just sold my beloved diplomat and now I am looking around to try and locate a senator. If any of you can point me in the right direction. I can go up to about 6500 and must be within a reasonable distance com me here thepa poconos. Big block, small block, does not matter. Interior doesn't have to be mint. What's most important to me is mechanically and the original gel coat has to be intact I do not like painted boats. I just want something that that I can drive and restore at the same time.

i know one... lol. a bit far from you.

i happy with the senator. its my second senator after they stole my first.

i would search nationwide for the best one. if i am into buying one.
it's saves you money in the long term.

letting you know when i see one. i bought mine in connecticut.

You are probably right. I think I will add some range to my search. Not cross country but a couple of states away.

A day driving is a small price to pay for the right boat and when you consider it's one day sacrificed for years of enjoyment on the boat it makes even more sense to travel.

Too bad there are no pictures of that boat who has been 18 years in storage. Only the pics of Checkmate.
I really like to see a boat like that and compare it to mine on gel coat for example

Thanks guys Ive reach out to them. I will let you all know if anything comes of it....Rich

That thing is local to me and has been listed FOREVER. I posted it a while ago when he had it listed as having "throw hole" exhaust. Must be something wrong if it's not sold after well over a year.

I'm going to go out on a limb saying lack of maint may be to blame for the lack of a sale.

iv been talking to him for a couple of weeks know and al he does is keep giving one excuse or another, later for that.

I would stay away from that thing if I were you. Maybe I'll see if I can go look at it just to see who it belongs to. It's a small town, chances are if I see the guy I may know him. Can't say I ever remember seeing that boat on the lake here.

i alway say to myself if the feeling is bad, don't.

if it's too good to be true, don't.

if the wife likes it, don't

if your friends like it, have look at it.

if you have a feeling with it, buy.

guy finally text me to call him tonite but. other than being dirty, that out drive looks like its been kept in the water too long. I do like the throw hole exhaust though.

I think i might be pulling the trigger on a enforcer out in cortland. the owner has done a ton of work to it such as the floors and stringers. 57 mag , alpha . The only thing that i am not to keen on is the fact that its painted from the rub strip up to the whole top deck. I would prefer original gel since it wears much better, but its better than having it painted from the strip down. anybody know that one please let me know.......Rich

If you are still looking I have an 89 Senator...factory gel with a 454 - 330 hp big block with a bravo 1.

white with yellow/black stripes. It's stored in northern wi. and I live in Chicago.
