looking for evinrude 300hp v8

I don't know anything about those motors, but it sounds like Boatman may have a 275 HP V8 for sale soon that runs great. Look for the thread on a 23' Enforcer for sale in the Checkmate listings.
 
They are strong motas the OMC/BRP guys like em but parts are slowly getting scarce. But the old sayinig goes there's no replacement for displacement.

As for parts being scarse. The only things hard to find are blocks, cranks & harmonic balancers. The rest interchanges with V6 & V4 stuff. There are alot of these motors & parts laying around in South Florida.
