Mike, this question is a little off the subject of your 240, but, I noticed you have a fiberglass cap on your truck. I am thinking og getting one, and my question is, does it impare visibility at all when towing? Do you have any regrets with it?

Mike, I don't think Evan (disturbed) is going to have an event this year. He tunes in on occasion and we here from him at the shop, I'll let you know, or Evan will if he's still going through with it. I see your in Michigan, just a skip across the lake. We still are having our event here at Bayview, Shown n shine, anchorage, band, food, sounds like Kip and Bill will be here from Checkmate, possibly Mercury, talked to them, sounds positive, I'll keep everyone updated as things fall into place! Hey Bill, as for my buds boat he runs about 67-70 with the 496 HO, its not a mag it runs real well!!!!

Yeah, I used to have a cap on my '99 Silverado and it was fine. Didn't really hurt my visibility, other then the obvious because it is there. Makes your truck look cooler in my opinion. That and a set of mags is all you need

Is that GPS or speedo for you buddies boat? I was told I will see 65 GPS with the 6.2, 320hp motor and 23p mirage plus. I am going to start out with the 4 blade Bravo though and see how it does, then try a Mirage.

65 on a gps??? I have no idea, did Checkmate tell you that? The 496 runs 65 to 68 on gps depends on the water this hull needs a chop 3' is nice or more ya ya ya
