toadie have you every been to crabby joes? i think its in granby mass on a lake. went there on my bike for a party for a guy who died kids. oc

Yeah, Crabby Joe's on Lake Congamong. It's actually in north Granby Ct. and parts of the lake are in Agawam, Ma. I missed that ride last year, but some friends went. I just sold my FLH last weekend, so I won't be riding there this year, but I believe they have docks for boating in. Good place to grab a lunch and cocktails. The damn river is so high, I am thinking of launching the 'mate there this weekend. I've had the tinboat out in the local ponds but the local ramps are too darn shallow for the big boat. Maybe we'll see you at Congamong. They supposedly have a nice launch there. Keep in touch, Rich.

MR T. man i must have a memory lapse .i competely forgot that was lake congomong.we bought a drag boat up there years ago.went to all the rides for Tatto(Don), and some other parties.sorry to hearyou sold your flh.aman has to have toys OC.

went to crabby joes for dinner thurs. afternoon. put the checkmate in for it's first run of the year. Lake Congamond is pretty decent, not real big, but big enough to open her up for a little while. The launch at the northern end of the lake is best. three new floating docks and two nice ramps. Crabby Joe's is at the southern end of the main lake next to the causeway. You have to go through a small viaduct under the causeway to get to their docks, and the southern section looks a little quieter. Going to put her in the river tomorrow at the state ramp on rt.5 in Northampton, Ma. Still a little high, but hopefully we can miss all the flotsam.

Nice boat, I like seeing those golden oldies....an older Mate in such great shape really shows the pride and hardwork of the owner....still shines like it must have in the showroom!!
