MR.DETERMINATION AND KNARLOID HEADING TO SOLOMONS ISLAND MARYLAND FOR THE WORLD CHAMP

So whos ready to start brainstorming on how to spend Mr.d's money and get him to first next summer?:D

I don't know anything about this class 7 racing but I'm good at brainstorming(well I think I am) and spending OPM(other peoples money).

- answer age old question pad vs regular V bottom with steps or not(this might take a while)
- commission Checkmate to lay up 2 hulls both kevlar
- 300xs
- Hire Randy or Sammie(he will have to un-retire) maybe both to set up boats.

That might not be complete, but it's a fun start.:bounce:

Did he win the lottery yet?

While your doing that, brainstorm up a plan for me to get started. With a light weight bare bones 242 hull. :bigthumb:

I'm holding out till they introduce a real manly category. Like something pink. In kayaks.

Easy - peasy Coop(where is the "Staples button" when you need it)

Just start with "winning the lottery" and add the other steps mentioned in the earier post with one possible exception.

WYS(With Your Skills) You might want to skip the comissioning Checkmate part and just borrow/rent the 242/260 mold, then lay up the boat yourself. - BIRDK(But I Really Don't Know)

Good luck, your welcome, and glad I could be of assitance.

BTW(by the way) once you're done and ready to race, I'll just hop in the Co-pilot seat where I belong. (beside spending OPM I'm pretty good at mooching rides I haven't really earned.)

I am ready! I.ll provide the CNC router services to fab all the parts needed to get the hull as light and strong as needed. (Stringers, seat mounts, transom etc) Like I did to my hull. This will depend on how much material Kevin can afford! (No labor charge from me) :thumb: I'd provide the shop space, if I still had a shop to work in. It's a BICH being retired and no longer having one.

Now, are there any members that want to donate some small change for the project to help him along? :poke:

After all he is the one spending his money and time for all the travel/entry fees to represent the Checkmate brand.

Any takers beside me?

JT

Thank you BIG TIME I will definately take you up on this offer. We have to Make a list on what I need to do to get the boat running faster and stable.

Thank you so much

Kevin

Well I'd like to help, but I got nothing but spending money and causing trouble for skills.

OH wait, I can break things pretty fast too and that has lead to a learned skill of fixing broken stuff, sometimes for cheap even. Problem is the commutes pretty far for me to get there and "cause trob.. I mean help out"

Maybe some other western guys John L., Jim(Jimway) and I could carpool over sometime and "Help... ya that's it Help"
