Muskoka Checkmate Rally 2016

I wanted to provide you notice of the annual Muskoka Checkmate Rally. It will be on Saturday August 6, 2016.

We will start from the usual location for those who have joined in the past, Gravenhurst Wharf, Gravenhurst ON. Our plan will be similar to previous years with a fun day touring Lake Muskoka, lunch at Turtle Jacks in Port Carling followed by a tour of Lakes Rosseau and Joseph. We are still planning the après rally refreshment event, expect it to be on Lk Muskoka 4-7pm at a members cottage. This is a full day event, meeting at 9am, with launch after a short drivers meeting by 10am.

Can you promise perfect boating weather? I've always wanted to make the pull up there and see your beautiful water.

I have only attended for 2 years (in a row), and the weather was 10/10 the first time and 8/10 the second time. On the second time there was some rain in the morning. I gathered that the year before we started it was rather warm, but for at least 3 years the weather has been great!
