My first Mate

Well I drove to Dallas yesterday to pick up this beauty, now I just need to do a few minor things to make it mine. I picked it up from its second owner, the original owner had it custom built by Checkmate. Other than a little test run when i picked it up yesterday I wont have a chance to get it in the water for a few weeks (have to go out of town for work).

Damn.. I thought I could come over here and rat you out before you had a chance to brag!!!

Nice Mate Jacob! You should be proud. Can't wait to see it in person!

Thanks guys.

I don't know how soon I will be posting numbers, I got to get used to it first this is not only my first checkmate but first boat. So once I get a good feel for it I will start playing with speed and props and whatnot.

The prop on it now is a 27p thats about all I found stamped on it, and the jack plate is a 6" setback (it is hydraulic).
