My new Pulsare 2100

Ready to Go

The new boat is ready. I took it out for the very first time last Wednesday. The boat was great but the weather was cold. I will post a few pictures.

The boat handles like a sports car. I am happy so far!

I have been breaking it in carefully and I only have about 3 hours.

I do have some gauge issues, but I think I can solve these with a Smartcraft AGI unit. I will get back out on the water this weekend and hopefully get in some serious seat time.

Any info on analog gauges in the Smartcraft world would be appreciated!

Hey Seamate, How's that Pulsare running?? Any top end mph numbers yet?? Wish I could afford a 300xs for the back of my Pulsare!! Your boat looks great. I think you would benefit with more setback. It will improve your handling and speed!!

New Pulsare

Thanks for all the comments.

I am still breaking in the boat and working out a few kinks in the rigging.

I don't have any top end numbers yet but my plan is to break it in with my 25" Tempest prop and then try a 27" TR04 and a 27"-29" Tempest.

If I experience handling issues, I plan to go with a 10" setback hydraulic jackplate. The 10" setback on my 87 Starliner with a 225 ProMax seemed to be the best setup. I am assuming that the Pulsare will be similar (but hopefully faster).

I will post numbers as I get them!

Joe
