We are waiting to get the money in at grand sport centre. Takes 7 till 10 days. After that take flight and get it south to store it. Doing it one step at a time so my main thing is taking it with me down south. Store it overthere for LC rally 2016. Straight after rally its going to port for the trip to the other side of the ocean.

The senator costed me a 6000 euro 8100 dollar at that time incl importtax of 21%, insurance, portfees etc.
I think this boat in the 12000 15000 euro range. the vat tax has been raised since 2011, more inland USA miles on this one, its 26 instead of 19 ft and so on.
The value of the boat is the main factor on the taxes. Its 21% over total cost. Incl transport insurance and shipping.
If you take a boat of 60k you end up in the 90.
 
I am happy with the 7.4 on one side bc i know its going to make no trouble in the EU emissions and noise laws when it has to be taxed and checked by customs. The first Cigarette is back in the USA bc of racing engines and a neg result at the customs. Want to be on the safe side. 7.4 is CE marked so i think its going Ok.
On the other hand want to go faster. At this time i think i am going to correct that when its over here.
 
The senator is a 1988. That means that dutch customs did not have to look at the EU import rules bc there was no EU at that age. This is a 2000 so they have to check the boat on emissions and noise. And CE mark And several other mainly finance issues. No drug money, black money involved etc. The EU import laws is from 1998 and up.

This boat is 24 so i think about a 40 to 45 total. Buy and shipping and cost and taxes. Add to that rebuilt or buy EU trailer and youre finished
 
I know it will be hard to wait, but you should come over and get it and take it to Cumberland the weekend of the Lake Cumberland Poker Run!!! You would get to see some pretty cool hardware running around!!!

I be flying this month to get the 259.
