CVX 16 Checkmate

Hello to all Checkmate lovers/owners.I just got this V mate on ebay,and she needs some work.It's black,with gold metalflake,and in pretty good condition,except for the interior.I've always liked Glastron/Carlsons,which I own,but the Checkmate has been a favorite too.This one is my first.I need help with replacement decals for it,and any other info that I can get.Thank you for your time,and a GREAT site!:cheers
 
Hi, im a very big G/C fan, cvx 16 being my favourite because its the boat my dad used to own, but he destroyed it, the boat just couldn't handle 150 black max xr-2. anyways, would anyone happen to know where i could get some pictures of a 1985 cvx-16, black, red, and white, with the hood stripe that sais cvx-16 in it?? they are so rare these days:(:(
 
congrats on your 1st checkmate!!! I just bought my 1st as well; 1987 Diplomat, 4.3 I/O. I too am looking for parts and I was told to call Mike at the factory 419-562-3881 Good luck and keep us posted:cheers
