New boat, not a Checkmate

We decided we wanted a new Pontoon to replace our 1976 Harris Flote-Bote. It's a Sylvan 8520 Mirage Cruise. Its something to ride around on at home, because our lake is too small for the Convincor. The pic is a manufacturers stock image.

I admit I've stopped a few places to look at them. I think I've made a deal with the wife. She can pic the boat but I get to pick the motor.

Its only got my existing 25 hp motor, should go about 15 mph. I really did not want to spend a lot of money on this. So, it made sense to use my good running Merc 2 stroke. The lake we use it on is only 89 acres.
