New Carpet...

Well i while ago i had asked where to get my carpet re-done.. After checking out about 5 different places i went with Snapincarpet.com

Delt with John there and couldn't be happier, they re-did my cabin and cockpit rug. Carved the checkmate logo into it and the words checkmate. Came out awesome!!

John even got back to everyone of my 10000 emails i sent him..

Before and after pictures coming as soon as the camera is charged!!

With the pix can you tell us what it cost you also?

I would like to know what I could have gotten it for with the custom work. I just replaced my carpet and went with all red snap in no frills. Nice heavy carpet with real nice backing and I got mine for $217. That was for the cockpit and the cabin on my 253.

Here are some pictures, they didn't come out the best inside.. cost was 570 that included all the shipping, also went with the better binding and heavy carpet.

Before - Matted, thin, backing sticking to the boat and ugly binding:

After:

Way better binding and smooth corners:

Boat is a 2000, when Checkmate used to make them in house.. Now they are made by Mat works, which seems to do a great job...

Thanks, i'll have to get some pictures when its in the boat, the carvings look better when in day light, they stand out way more..

I bet you have the same boat I have, I am thinking of doing the same thing to my carpet, very nice!!
