My name is Chris and I have aquired a entertainer with a 260 horse i/o. I was just wondering what something like that is worth. The whole boat needs to be restored. Any info like how many years they built them and things of that nature. As to the motor I am not sure if it is the correct one.

Thanks Chris

I also just bought an Entertainer I/O with a 260 merc. It is 1987, what year is yours? I have owned mine only about 2 months now and like it. This was a one owner boat that was kept in a barn under cover all its life. It is all original except the upholstery. It is in exc condition for a 20 yr old. I dont think it has many hours on it as the engine is very strong.

I believe the boat to be 79-84 not sure as of yet. It looks like an absolute blast to drive but it will be ahwile befor it sees water. Do you know where the best place to find onfo other than here?
Thanks Chris

I've got an 80 Entertainer. Great boats, congratulations on your find! I restored mine last year, and this is far and away the best place to get information. I've been amazed at the knowledge base this site represents. Look at the serial number on the back of the transom ... the last two digits should tell you what year yours is.
