i got the new fishin boat set up and ready to go. It is an all welded 16 ft. alumacraft. the boat is built like a tank. I was deciding between a mercury 25 H.P. 4 stroke or an evinrude e-tech 25 h.p. after much consideration I bought a 2007 40 H.P yamaha 4 stroke.( go figure). this motor came available for less money than the other two so I bolted it on.My first 4 stroke, i'm very anxious to run it. with gas prices still climbing I think I will use this little guy a lot.

Awesome boat to start with. About 2K for trolling motor and electronics, seats, pole holders and your good to go. I can troll all day with my fishing rig and only use 3 gallons of gas... if I use the electric, I good for all day shorelining at a cost of.... ZERO.... :)....just watch out for the crazy guys in the Checkmates.....:bounce::bounce:

yes, this is going to be a flats boat. the susquehanna flats for stripers.
I'm anxious to give it a run
