Beautiful boat, but yes that's exactly what they did. The boat had 540 bulldogs in it and as it was simply put to me.....they took them out quite simply due to financials. They put the motors in a boat that was worth more money. They (shorgren) swapped these motors in from an 88 cig that they had in inventory (didn't ask why they took them out of that boat).
We will do all forged internals. I'm not going to go crazy with the build, I would like 550-600 per side, with most of the power coming from the boost as opposed to the aggressive head/cam NA approach. I can't even be sure the hull will handle it, I can find so little info on the net about this hull. I will have a better game plan tomorrow once we know what's in there but if I have the "good" heads I will probably just refresh, everything, boost her up with or without a roller cam and go. It would be nice to find some good stuff but who knows. We should also have a better idea of the problems of course.
