New Hydrostream X-22 SKI-BOAT???

Purchasing any new Stream is a little risky, the company seems to be on shaky ground............

But I really like the new designs! Too bad they can't merge with CMate and become a force in the world again.

Agreed on the shaky part. I just didn't want to post it.

Imagine our forums as a Check/Stream board.

I was just reading on Scream that the factory isn't selling through dealers anymore. I guess they plan to sell direct through a few different factory outlets.

Personally, if I buy a Stream, I'll be calling John Spaeth. ;)

I AGREE with CHRIS...

John builds some INCREDIBLE boats!!!

Hydrostream of Canada are the old hulls with New Technology Materials!!!

Hydrostream of Tenn, USA are new design hulls that have had some "getting started" issues (appearently now factory direct type sales). I rode in a 2005 Vegas XT with a 280 Merc and that boat hauls A$$... It had an excellent build quality inside and out (and I am picky)! The mud-ruckers at S&F tend to blow out of control on about everything

Now lets talk about the X-Stream hulls... where did those molds go???

Not sure where the X-Stream molds went. Possibly to Spaithe? My X-Stream Valero was a piece of crap, so was Gregs V-King. Greg had his V-King completely rebuilt (except transom) by the guys workng at Progression. Our boats had painted wood floors, no fiberglass! I ended up selling mine to a guy in Grand Rapids, then I think he sold it to a guy in Minnesota or there-abouts. Greg has offered to sell me his VKing, but I haven't bitten on the high price he wants :sssh:

JW...

I always had a thing for a Hydrostream (X-Stream) AE-202 (or is it an AE21)???
It was the HST on steroids! I saw one make 111+MPH pass with a stock 260 Merc 2.5 offshore!
The only one up from there in my book is a 22 Talon...:thumb: JIM

Buy Gregs V-King???
Kind of like a brand new boat and motor thats been upgraded. Its been in the water, what 5 times? lolol
