New in Indiana

Hello all! Have been lurking this site for almost 2 years. Had been keeping an eye out trying to find a rare deal and lusting, wishing I could join the board as a checkmate owner. Finally found my new baby. A 2008 2100 Pulsare BR with an etec 250 HO. She was a bank repo and needs some love but I should be in jail for what I stole her for! Really excited to get the ice off the lake and dip her in. Have already started the needed clean up and found some great tips as usual on the boards. I will be running the boat on Crooked Lake in Angola Indiana where I live year round. If any of you are close, ( I have only seen one other checkmate on this lake so far) say hello! Hope this winter gives up soon!

Nice buy. Curious what you got it for? I had called the marina 3 days ago and they said it was gone.

:welcome:from a fellow Indiana boater! I try to make a trip up to Wawasee at least once a year. That is about as close to your neck of the woods that i have been! Might have to meet up sometime though. I love checking out new lakes!!

I got it for $17K plus title and tax. The interior looked pretty rough from sitting under cover too long (mold) but the tips of Mr. Clean erasers and some light bleach mixture has worked minor miracles so far. In the process of finding a prop and it needs a little gel repair on the nose but I think she is going to look really nice come summer

Very nice rig. You got a great deal! I remember seeing seeing that one when I was looking, but it was pretty far away. Then I ended up buying one even farther away... That's usually how it goes. :)
Have fun with it!
