quik would not be the way i would explain it:shakehead: worked on it untill about 12:30 last night and finished hooking up the trim buttin this morning! but it is my first time doing the conversion and next time if there is one it will go alot better! man i'm glad this is done and it looks a TON better:bounce:
hey- it was nice meeting you:bigthumb: -ross-

Ross, cowl looks good on/with your hull!. See you also cleaned the mid. with the bowl cleaner, works good don't it. When you MODIFY stuff, like doing the cowl conversion you have to figure things-out and get creative. It makes you a better mechanic, and proud when you complete projects like this. Thank's for the positive words about me, nice meeting you and the others that came to my house. If you need anything or have questions just give me a call.

HELUVAGUY!!!!! thanks again jon:thumb:

Wow,
looks much better..
any leads on another setup just like that? ? ?
Those colors would match my starflight nicely as well..

thanks guys. i will say if anyone does a conversion like this(from old clamshell style to bucket style) to get ahold of me and i can give you some tips that would have saved me some time!-ross-

I just wiped down my mid with some bowl cleaner and it looks f-ing great. I have heard talk about using it for years but never tried it until now.

it took all the spots off the aluminum part of the rub rail as well.

NOTE................ You only want to use this on metal, gelcoat, and powder coated surfaces. If you use it on paint......... kiss it goodby.

Ross - looks really nice! Amazing how that dresses a boat up.

I'm hitting torch at least once this year and will give you a call.
Probably mostly family sand-bar time, but I'd like to hang out for at least a beer (or more) this time! Probably the week after the 4th.

Offer stands if you want to just drive down to Waters w/o the starfllite - can ride the surf jet and help me wring out the starlinercicle on the 1.5 miles of water I have there!

PS - thanks again for the pics a while back, really appreciated that!!
